Robert Half is seeking a Customer Support Assistant/Order Entry in the Bridgewater, New Jersey area. In this role, you will be operating within the industry, handling a variety of tasks from processing orders to coordinating with international teams, all while maintaining a focus on customer service.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer orders through the internal system

• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth supply chain operations

• Handle product forecasting and planning, coordinating with teams in India and Brazil

• Manage customer communications, both via email and phone

• Convert measurements from pounds to kilos when necessary

• Continual maintenance of customer records for accuracy

• Transition from the current internal system to SAP when required

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions if needed

• Handle varying order volumes, maintaining efficiency regardless of quantity.

• Proficiency in Customer Support, with a proven ability to handle and resolve customer queries effectively.

• Experience in Order Entry, demonstrating a keen attention to detail when inputting and verifying data.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and team members.

• Strong multitasking abilities, to manage multiple customer queries and orders simultaneously.

• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, to track customer interactions and order statuses.

• Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude and detail oriented demeanor in challenging situations.

• Good organizational skills, to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data entry and analysis.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or procedures related to customer support and order entry.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and collaborative problem-solving skills.
