Our established high volume fine dining restaurant in the Penn Quarter district is seeking a talented Sous Chef If you are a passionate teacher and servant heart leader looking to take your culinary career to the next level, apply today and join the best


Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Sous Chef level experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant
  • Events/catering experience a plus
  • Creative ability to develop international/global cuisine menus
  • Strong P&L, cost control and systems experience
  • Servant leader and teacher, empowering others to be their very best
  • Team player with the ability to take direction and think outside the box

Sous Chef Responsibilities: 

  • Lead/Coach/Develop the culinary team to excellence
  • Work towards and contribute to the success of the restaurant's reputation, including potential James Beard and Michelin recognition
  • Direct the food preparation activities for all service periods and special events with established recipes, production procedures, timing, portion control, and quality and presentation standards
  • Oversee daily culinary operations and admin-vendor relations, inventory, expense control, hiring
  • Must be able to communicate well with the culinary leadership team and team members in a positive manner


Sous Chef Benefits:
