Administrative Assistant

LHH is seeking a customer-oriented Administrative Assistant professional to join our client’s HR team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will provide vital support to the HR department by managing employee inquiries, assisting with onboarding processes, and maintaining accurate employee records in Workday. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills looking to begin a career in HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to employee emails promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries about policies, benefits, and other HR-related topics.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees, acting as the first point of contact for HR-related concerns.
Support onboarding activities, including preparing new hire documentation, coordinating orientation schedules, and ensuring a seamless experience for new employees.
Accurately input and maintain employee data in Workday, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining employee files, tracking HR metrics, and generating reports as needed.
Collaborate with the HR team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Workday is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Previous HR experience is helpful but not required; enthusiasm to learn and grow in the HR field is essential.

M-F 9am-5:30pm
Contract Length
6 months with potential for permanent hire
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.50 per hour
