Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are welcoming a Sales & Customer Care Consultant to our retail team located in Mahwah, New Jersey. In this role, you will primarily handle customer communications across various channels and assist with product inquiries, payment issues, and other customer concerns. This role calls for a proactive approach to customer service and a commitment to meeting quality and productivity targets.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first line of response for customer issues and complaints, communicating via email, phone, live chat, and social media.
• Deliver excellent customer service consistently to all our customers.
• Proactively anticipate and prevent potential barriers to seamless customer experience.
• Assist customers with a range of inquiries including product queries, returns, delivery, registration, and payments.
• Strive to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to sales, quality, and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Customer Care department and other internal departments to continuously improve service and knowledge.
• Enter customer and order information into the system accurately.
• Schedule appointments and manage customer accounts as needed.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and email correspondence.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in a retail or customer service environment
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently
• Experience with data entry and order entry
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer issues effectively
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage time effectively
• Experience in email correspondence and handling customer queries via email
• Familiarity with call center customer service practices
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per retail industry standards
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Higher education or certifications in relevant fields will be considered a plus.
