Partners Personnel is supporting our client, located in Port Wentworth GA., in selecting a Customer Service Rep for their logistics facility. Our client is a known leader across the US in Port-to-door services in supply chain and logistics. This role is being offered as a temp- to- hire assignment. on site, with scheduled hours of 7am-4 pm or 8 am-5 pm. As a CSR you will ensure that the company delivers on their reputation for outstanding service and response. The selected candidate will be processing and monitoring their orders from start to finish. Communication with customers to assist in resolving issues, providing solutions, corrections, will be part of your daily tasks. Being reliable, able to handle multiple tasks, work well under presser and exceed the customer's expectations will be key to success. 

Essential Duties: 

  • Customer interaction with some phones, email -Word and Outlook experience is essential 
  • Intake of customer concerns, complaints, and issues with documentation into system
  • Investigation, research and discussion to find appropriate solution and response
  • Familiarity with billing, order processing, inventory control, charges, credits and cancellations
  • Working with drivers to collect paperwork and monitor progress of orders
  • Handling multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously 

Requirements: 

  • Word and Outlook are used daily, MS Office Software is a must. 
  •  Exhibit good phone/speaking skills- clear, appropriate language and grammar, calmness under pressure, friendly
  •  Reliable and at work on time daily, very good attendance, good work ethic 
  • Previous background experience in Transportation and/or logistics is a big Plus for consideration 
  • Completion of high school and 1+ year work experience is mandatory.
