Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant based in Augusta, Maine. This role is critical to our operations, as it involves managing a high volume of grants and maintaining our database. You will be part of a hybrid work environment, with a preference for working out of our Augusta office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain our grants database to ensure smooth operations
• Keep our funding approval and request information updated and accessible
• Engage in email correspondence to address queries and share information
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for various administrative tasks
• Process grant applications, ensuring they are accurately and efficiently handled
• Oversee the approval process for grants, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
• Participate in the funding process, supporting the overall financial operations
• Maintain accurate records related to grants, approvals, and funding requests.• Demonstrated experience in the role of Administrative Assistance
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks, able to handle large volumes of data with accuracy
• Ability to manage Email Correspondence effectively, ensuring clear and detail-oriented communication
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets, charts, and perform complex calculations
• Experience in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, including use of templates, transitions, and multimedia integration
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word for document creation, formatting, and editing
• Familiarity with Approval Process, able to handle requests and ensure they meet company standards
• Knowledge of Funding Process, able to manage and track funds effectively.
