Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent Help Desk Analyst to join our team in the education sector based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. In the role of a Help Desk Analyst, your responsibilities will include providing technical support to students and faculty, maintaining hardware and software systems, and managing customer service inquiries. The role also requires travel between our four campuses, hence, owning a car is necessary.

Responsibilities
• Offer comprehensive technical support to students and faculty
• Troubleshoot hardware issues efficiently and perform basic troubleshooting
• Maintain and manage Windows-based machines and Google Suite applications
• Ensure the smooth operation of Powerschool, a specialized K-12 Student Information System
• Handle a high volume of urgent concerns due to the fast-paced nature of the work environment
• Reset passwords and provide end-user training as necessary
• Maintain a detail oriented disposition while managing customer service inquiries
• Collaborate with an experienced team and contribute to the overall efficiency of IT operations.• Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Expertise in Google Suite, including Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drive
• Ability to provide comprehensive technical support to staff and students
• Experience in technical support roles within an educational setting is preferred
• Strong skills in hardware troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and repair a range of devices
• Familiarity with basic troubleshooting techniques for software and network issues
• Capable of performing password reset operations and other account management tasks
• Ability to provide end-user training on a variety of software and hardware platforms
