Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Shop Technician
First Shift Monday – Friday 7am-5pm, some overtime
Benefits from day one, very competitive pay, opportunity for advancement, pay based on level of experience, up to $45/hour
Job Description:
· Set up, repair, service, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and parts installation and replacement on diesel powered equipment used in construction, industrial, mining, governmental, forestry, power generation, marine, agricultural, and trucking industries
· Working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics, diesel, and electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
· Use of testing and diagnostic equipment and advanced troubleshooting
· Providing the highest level of customer service
· Interpreting technical instruction manuals, service and safety manuals, operating in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Successful completion of background check and drug screen
· Ability to meet physical requirements; lifting 50-80 lbs
· High School Diploma
· Vocational/Technical training at an accredited school or relevant military experience preferred
· Must have at least 5-6 years of experience working on related equipment
· Ability to work independently
