Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH is working with a large company in the logistics industry to search for a temporary to hire Accounts Payable Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of management experience along with three or more years of AP experience. You will handle the important vendor accounts and will be monitoring and mentoring the accounts payable team members. This role is fully onsite in Seattle, WA but you will have some flexibility with scheduling. This role offers internal growth and an opportunity to help organize a growing department.
Responsibilities:
  • Resolve and manage the critical vendor list and review outgoing payments for accuracy.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Ensure monthly reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to payments.
  • Prepare and present accounts payable reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in accounts payable, with at least two years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Employment Details:
  • Temporary to hire.
  • Fully onsite in the Seattle, WA office.
  • Flexible working hours after training.


Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
