Job DescriptionJob Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the construction services industry.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the processing and recording of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Managing and organizing all financial-related data with accuracy.

• Working closely with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.

• Ensuring all customer accounts are up to date and professionally handling any inquiries or issues.

• Conducting reconciliation of bank statements.

• Preparing financial reports with detailed transaction records.

• Identifying any irregularities or concerns about transactions or accounts and bringing them to the attention of management.

  • An associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required; however, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in accounting or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with QuickBooks.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Bilingual; english and spanish
