ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Bristol, Vermont, to fill a full-time School Psychologist role for the 2024-2025 school year. Position Summary:
You will support students academic, social, and emotional needs by conducting assessments, offering counseling, and collaborating with educators and families to help students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Psychological Assessments: Evaluate students to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • IEP Development: Collaborate with IEP teams to design customized strategies.
  • Counseling: Offer individual and group sessions to assist students.
  • Collaboration: Work with teachers and families to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Mental Health Support: Promote mental health awareness within the school.
  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations to ensure student safety.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology.
  • Certification: Eligible for certification in Vermont.
  • Experience: Prior experience in schools preferred; recent graduates are welcome.
  • Skills: Expertise in assessment, counseling, and collaboration.
