Job Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working directly with Board Certified Behavioral Analysts to provide therapy to children and families in need of support
  • Teaching communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principles
  • Maintaining active participation during sessions by engaging in play and keeping up with the energy of the child
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of paid experience working with children, volunteering, or ABA experience
  • A smartphone or similar device capable of capturing client session data
  • The ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, and pre-employment physical exam
