Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Katy, Texas. The successful candidate will have a key role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting, HR, and General Admin functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those who are adept at maintaining financial records, processing payments, and managing general accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all functions of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Perform monthly adjusting entries and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain the 13-week cash flow forecast to manage finances and predict future cash needs.
• Generate and maintain the chart of accounts to organize the company's finances.
• Prepare and process commission/bonus payments timely and accurately.
• Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Respond to information requests for tax preparation to ensure accurate and timely tax filing.
• Manage sales tax operations to ensure compliance with local and state tax regulations.
• Prepare P& L and Balance Sheet Forecast to provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Utilize various accounting software systems such as BlackLine, Concur, and ADP for efficient accounting operations.
• Ensure adherence to established accounting functions, practices, and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain billing functions.• Possession of 5 or more years of experience in an accounting management or supervisory role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with BlackLine software
• Proficiency in using Concur software
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge and experience in auditing
• Experience in overseeing billing functions
• Must be a team player with strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
