Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our client's team in Vancouver, Washington. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for supply chain management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, purchasing inventory, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with various departments to meet their procurement needs.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders and deliveries.


 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ERP or SAP experience is a big plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

 

 



Pay Details: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
