Executive Administrator (Sacramento, CA)

LHH is teaming up with a health insurance company in Sacramento, CA in search of an experienced Executive Administrator. This temporary position offers the opportunity to provide high-level administrative support to executive leaders in a dynamic healthcare environment, facilitating efficient operations and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Executive Administrator with a background in healthcare, particularly in HMO settings. They should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be proficient in MS Office and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion. A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Executives in developing and implementing organizational plans, strategies, and budgets.
  • Manage calendars for Executives, including scheduling meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Document departmental goals and priorities regularly to meet annual business targets.
  • Collaborate with team members and leaders on special projects to achieve company objectives.
  • Present departmental performance updates and relevant information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain key stakeholder relationships and document staffing plans to support business initiatives.
  • Communicate business updates to uphold high performance standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and resource needs.
  • Handle inquiries from visitors and calls, providing information or referrals as needed.
  • Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems and handle incoming mail efficiently.
  • Prepare reports by compiling and summarizing data.
  • Facilitate Board meetings by preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Provide guidance to other Executive Administrative Assistants.
  • Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Clearly interpret and communicate policies and procedures to all staff levels.
  • Foster cooperative relationships while managing sensitive information with discretion.
Experience:
  • Experience: At least 3 years as an Executive Administrative Assistant or similar role; healthcare (especially HMO) experience is a plus.
  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel), Microsoft Teams, and Zoom required; familiarity with Smartsheet is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.


Worksite Type: On-site in Sacramento, CA, with some hybrid availability

Pay Rate: $35-$38/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Full time, regular office hours. Can vary between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Duration: Contract (Start ASAP with 2-month duration. Possible extension)

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
