The Production Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing the company’s logistics activities, ensuring a smooth process from receiving goods to their shipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Arrange and coordinate internal and external logistics activities, ensuring that goods are transported and delivered according to plan.
- Track and monitor the transportation process to ensure that goods arrive at their destination on time and adjust transportation plans as needed.
- Accurately and efficiently receive incoming goods, materials, and supplies, ensuring that the contents match the packing list and purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for any damage or defects and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse/Logistics Manager.
- Familiarize with and follow packaging and shipping procedures to ensure that goods are shipped on time and accurately.
- Coordinate warehousing and inventory management, ensuring the proper and safe storage of goods.
- Collaborate with inventory, purchasing, and transportation departments to ensure inventory levels meet operational needs and address any inventory-related issues.
- Participate in regular inventory audits to ensure that system records are consistent with actual inventory.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and other warehouse staff to resolve any issues related to incoming shipments.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders align with actual received goods.
- Timely report any challenges or issues in logistics operations and suggest optimization solutions.
- Maintain and update logistics management systems to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all transportation and inventory information.
- Ensure the completeness and traceability of transportation records, invoices, and receipts.
Requirement:
- Must be fluent in Mandarin and English with High School diploma or above.
- Prior experience in logistics is preferred, with familiarity in goods transportation and warehousing management processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with various parties.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in using office software and logistics management systems, such as Microsoft Office, NetSuite, etc.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing facility setting with exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and dust.
