LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an HR Manager for a client just north of Cincinnati. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes in our senior living community. This role ensures the effective management of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This position is direct hire and will pay between $70K and $95K annually depending on education and experience. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Conduct interviews, background checks, and reference checks.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns and grievances.
  • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution.
  • Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Implement performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers.
  • Assist in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
  • Develop and monitor performance improvement plans.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Support career development and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Conduct salary surveys and recommend compensation adjustments.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and open enrollment processes.
  • Promote workplace safety and health initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the senior living or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
