Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the payroll team, supervisor, and manager to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold legal and regulatory requirements related to employee records.
• Input employee information into the payroll system and confirm the accuracy of data entries.
• Maintain and update employee records, including new employees, re-employments, terminations, wage changes, and benefit modifications.
• Guarantee data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Prepare necessary documentation for audits or reporting.• Proficiency in high-volume data entry, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated experience in record keeping, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date
• Ability to maintain comprehensive and confidential payroll records
• Understanding of payroll laws and regulations
• Experience with payroll software and systems
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff regarding payroll matters
• Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
• High level of integrity, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and strong numerical skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in office productivity software, particularly spreadsheet applications.
