As a Collections Specialist, your primary role will be in account recovery and collections, with responsibilities that include pulling reports, reviewing accounts, and initiating collection calls for charged-off accounts. The Collections Specialist will also make outbound focusing on business-to-business collections processing and the recovery of accounts and communicating with customers to resolve inquiries. As a Collections Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


• Review and manage charged-off accounts to recover outstanding balances


• Initiate collection calls to customers for payment resolution


• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and CRM for account management


• Conduct detailed analysis using D& B and consumer reports for account recovery


• Employ Epic Software for efficient claims administration


• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of Accounts Receivable (AR)


• Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions via answering inbound calls


• Perform billing functions as required


• Use Accurint and ADP - Financial Services for effective collection processes.

The ideal Collections Specialist candidate will have:

• Associates of Arts, Bachelor of Science of Bachelor of Arts in Accounting preferred


• Relevant experience in the Financial Services industry


• Skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)


• Experience in performing Billing Functions


• Capable of handling Claim Administration tasks


• Understanding of Collection Processes for efficient debt recovery.


• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems


• Familiarity with Accurint for data collection and analysis


• Experience with ADP - Financial Services for streamlined financial processes


• Ability to utilize CRM for customer relationship management


• Knowledge in using Epic Software for financial operations


• Experience in answering inbound calls


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills


• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities


• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work


• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
