Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tuition Collections Specialist - Financial Services to join our team at Partnership Employment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing critical aspects of billing, collections, and financial reconciliation.

Estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year based on location and industry standards.

Main Duties
  • Tuition billing and collection processes: Oversee tuition billing and collection, ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts and timely processing of payments.
  • Accounting functions: Partner with the Controller on accounting functions, including journal entries, ledger reconciliation, and preparation for external audits.
  • Tuition system management: Manage and maintain data within tuition system, including entering charges, credits, and incidental fees.
  • Families communication: Communicate with families regarding payment schedules, missed payments, and past-due accounts; collaborate with a collection agency as needed.
  • Financial record reconciliation: Reconcile financial records related to tuition revenue, financial aid, tuition remission, and scholarship funds.
  • Admissions and Enrollment coordination: Coordinate with Admissions and Enrollment on contracts for financial aid and admissions.
  • Vendor database maintenance: Maintain vendor databases, monitor online payment systems, and address inquiries from parents.
  • Departmental collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to manage payroll deductions, scholarships, and financial aid reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an AR focused role.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and financial software systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
