We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to become an integral part of our client's team, based in Columbia, Maryland. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your main focus will be on handling invoices, data entry, and maintaining our older systems. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:


• Ensuring the accurate and timely entry of invoices

• Managing accounts payable and processing invoices efficiently

• Upholding a high level of attention to detail in all tasks

• Demonstrating reliability and commitment in the role

• Maintaining and updating customer credit records as needed

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficiency in entering and processing invoices.

• Demonstrable skills in data entry.

• Thorough understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP).

• Ability to handle high volumes of invoices and manage multiple accounts.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
