We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in a dynamic industry, based in Louisville, Kentucky. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with managing customer credit applications, maintaining precise records for customer credit, and resolving any customer inquiries. Additionally, this role entails monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action when required.


Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage customer credit applications.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit.

• Resolve any inquiries from customers.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action.

• Utilize Accounts Payable (AP) skills to enhance efficiency.

• Employ spreadsheet software for various tasks.

• Demonstrate strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms.

• Handle potential front-facing roles.

• Use Ariba software for certain tasks, if experienced.


ENTRY LEVEL WITH BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING OR FINANCE CONSIDERED

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the gambling industry

• Proven competence in handling Accounts Payable (AP) processes and tasks

• Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles

• Experience in processing and managing invoices and payments

• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for informational, auditing and operational use

• Excellent attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced work environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
