Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. In this role, you will be handling accounts payable tasks, processing a high volume of invoices, and participating in monthly closing activities. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry.

Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable for multiple locations and vendors
• Process, verify, and reconcile a significant number of invoices
• Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges with vendor files
• Organize, review, and prepare invoices for payment
• Contribute to the closing activities at the end of the month
• Assist in audits when required
• Engage in physical inventory tasks
• Adhere to the company's accounting policies and procedures
• Contribute to departmental projects and initiatives.• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to accurately balance and manage ledgers.
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP), demonstrating a solid understanding of the payment process.
• Experience with Check Runs, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Skill in Coding Invoices, accurately categorizing expenses for financial reporting.
• Strong Data Entry skills, with the ability to input large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
• Experience in Invoice Processing, including reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and generate reports.
• Familiarity with Oracle, demonstrating the ability to navigate and utilize this software for financial management.
• Experience with QuickBooks, with the ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, among other accounting tasks.
• Knowledge of SAP, demonstrating the ability to leverage this software for efficient financial management.
