We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant based in Frisco, Texas. This role is an integral part of our team, where you will be involved in numerous accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.


Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and manage accounts payable, including reviewing invoices and communicating with vendors.

• Handle accounts receivable, excluding call duties, but may include sending out statements through email.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in our financial records.

• Be involved in operational activities and wear multiple hats, ensuring variety in your daily tasks.

• Manage intercompany transactions, aiding in smooth internal operations.

• Respond to vendor inquiries, maintaining strong and professional business relationships.

• Utilize accounting software systems and tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to perform job functions.

• Ensure all customer and vendor records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Adapt to different tasks as every invoice and accounting process may vary.

• Assist in obtaining copies of documents and answering questions related to accounting functions.

Requirements:

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Familiarity with accounting functions, including but not limited to, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.

• The candidate should possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills are required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• The applicant should be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy is essential.

• The candidate should be able to adhere to strict deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
