We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team and support a diverse caseload of students across multiple K-12 campuses in Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream, and Bloomingdale, IL.

Job Summary: As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. Your responsibilities will include conducting initial and re-evaluations, administering psychological testing, and providing comprehensive support for students with a range of needs, from mild to severe. Your work will involve collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation:

Conduct initial and re-evaluations for students to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments to inform educational planning and support.
Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as needed.
Intervention and Support:

Provide individual and group counseling to address students emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
Offer guidance and support to help students manage stress, improve social skills, and achieve academic goals.
Consultation and Collaboration:

Work with school teams to identify and address learning and behavioral issues within the classroom setting.
Provide training and support to educators on psychological and behavioral topics.
Serve as a resource for parents, offering strategies and recommendations to support their childs development.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
Prepare and submit reports as required for school records, meetings, and compliance purposes.
Professional Development:

Stay current with best practices and research in school psychology and related fields.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:

Education and Certification:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required.
Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred but not required.
Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a school psychologist, preferably with K-12 experience.
Experience with a caseload that includes both mild and severe needs.
Skills:

Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

This position involves traveling between multiple campuses in Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream, and Bloomingdale, IL. A reliable mode of transportation is required.
