  • Professional Development:
    • Stay current with best practices and research in school psychology and related fields.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Certification:
    • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
    • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required.
    • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred but not required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a school psychologist, preferably with K-12 experience.
    • Experience with a caseload that includes both mild and severe needs.
  • Skills:
    • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
