LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with us to find a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant for a contract role at our marketing and PR company, specializing in healthcare advertising. This hybrid position requires two days on-site in Yardley, PA, with the flexibility to work remotely for the rest of the week.

Job Title: Senior Accountant (Contract)

Location: Yardley, PA (Hybrid - 2 days on-site)

Pay Rate: $35-$45/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all standard senior accountant duties, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) regulations, focusing on internal controls and processes.
  • Develop and implement fraud prevention measures and compliance strategies.
  • Consolidate financial statements from subsidiary companies to present a comprehensive financial overview.
  • Conduct reconciliations and manage financial data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent financial practices and reporting.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Extensive experience with SOX compliance and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement fraud prevention and compliance strategies.
  • Strong consolidation experience, particularly with global companies.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
