Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in the process of recruiting an HR Coordinator to join our team based in Union City, California. The position will involve providing administrative support across various HR processes and programs, with a focus on maintaining accurate employee data and assisting with policy implementation. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the interpretation and support of HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy and current status of employee data in HRIS, submitting documentation for adjustments as needed.
• Assist with the creation of offer letters and other forms of correspondence.
• Collaborate with various HR functions in implementing programs and documents such as job status change forms, LOA/termination documentation, and new position creation.
• Manage calendars, schedules, and travel arrangements, and prioritize meetings.
• Handle all incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email, screening and directing as necessary.
• Develop presentations, agendas, and reports, and create correspondence as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive issues.
• Coordinate and update pre-employment status including badge access, drug testing, and orientation.
• Order supplies and provide backup to other administrative services as required.• Proficiency in customer service and communication, with an emphasis on clarity and brevity
• Ability to handle office functions efficiently and maintain organization
• Experience in documentation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Understanding of operations, procedures, and policy in an HR context
• Familiarity with payroll processes and systems
• Proficiency in materials handling and database management
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Proficiency in email correspondence and ability to draft professional presentations
• Familiarity with the software 'About Time' is a plus
• Understanding of benefit functions and correspondence related to it
• Typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy
• Experience in implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus
• Ability to work with partners in a professional manner
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality in HR tasks
• Experience in maintaining logs and records
• Familiarity with video conferencing and other digital communication tools.
