Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is excited to offer an opening for a passionate and talented Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Hamden, CT. This part-time role provides an excellent opportunity to positively influence students' lives by aiding in the development of vital skills necessary for both academic and social success.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Location: Onsite at a school in Hamden, CT
- Contract: ProCare Therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough occupational therapy evaluations.
- Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, aligning with their IEP objectives.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid ConnecticutOccupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility to obtain
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric environment is preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
