We are seeking for a Construction Project Manager at our sites at Central Indiana.

Responsible for:

  • Management of all aspects of assigned projects

    • supervision

    • mobilization through punch list and demobilization,

    • client relations and cost control of general conditions

    • overall budget of the entire project

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of construction experience working as a project manager (Commercial)

  • Knowledgeable in general building and site/civil construction (Commercial)

  • Construction related degree or equivalent job experience

  • Leadership and motivational skills:

    • Strong speaking skills to effectively communicate orders to clients, architects, engineers, Internal employees including workers, communicate complex information and technical details to Superintendent & estimators

  • Knowledge of reading project plans and specifications (Commercial)

  • Experience working on construction projects, and available references

  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS, One drive, Microsoft Projects: Experience managing schedules

  • Organization: individual keeps desk, files, & job clean in drive/Procore, an answers emails within 48 hours

  • Team player-

  • Pass annual drug exams

  • Knows and understands programs like zoom, box, & Dropbox

Procore Management:

  • Responsible for the proper administration of construction contracts.

  • Procore Certification of Project Manager Tools- pass each course and earn certification.

Job Duties: (to Client)

  • Manage clients/ customers with the highest level of integrity

    • Present self in a professional manner to protect the image of Client Responds promptly to customer needs including requests for service and assistance

    • Meets commitments & ensure satisfaction

    • Manage difficult customer situations & find fair resolution

    • Keep emphasis on the client, develop an understanding of the client's culture, key people and processes

    • Manage and maintain day to day client interactions and expectations

  • Conduct owner progress meetings as required by projects

    • Disperse meeting minutes to all parties

    • Update owner, architect and management with progress reports

    • Notify any changes that need to be aware of

    • Distribute and track RFI's from Owner/Architect back to the appropriate parties

    • Works with the project engineer to ensure quality. Helps train and teach as necessary

    • Updated schedule is made available

General Requirements:

  • Procore timecards: entered in daily & cost coded to each job

  • Filing weekly credit card receipts for administration department: provide to PA's, includes gas receipts

  • Reporting each month by the 30th- estimated monthly billings: Fill out estimated and actual for each job and making sure #'s tie back

  • 3rd week of the month- forecasting each job for labor production & expected revenue: reports should be accurate & organized, contingency log to be updated

  • Provide quarterly reviews of superintendents, project engineers, and project administrators

  • Find & bring qualified subs & suppliers to help bid projects: treat subs & suppliers fairly

  • Be able to help estimating team: performing job walks while maintain requirements, takes accurate notes, pictures, videos & scope

  • Be able to help with bid day requests to call on subs/supplier to ensure best scope & #

  • Understands cost coding from estimating team

  • Understands the company P drive

  • Track T&M and work tickets in a effective manner

  • Notify upper management on PTO & VAC time off requests: provides in a professional manner & ensures work will be complete while away

  • Reviewing foundation to ensure PO's are correct with a sufficient amount of left to bill

SAFETY

  • Minimize exposure and risk by implementing safety standards and quality assurance controls

  • Supervise the work and performance of the team, providing advice and guidance where they can, as well as checking that health and safety standards are met

  • Use risk management to identify and respond to potential issues throughout the project to minimize potential negative impacts and help ensure the safety of the workers

  • OSHA 30 HR Certification

  • Current First Aid and CPR training
