Medical Assistant Primary Care - NO WEEKEND & NO HOLIDAYS

What is the ideal background?

  • The ideal candidate will have Primary Care experience as an LPN
  • Will look at an LPN with experience in the hospital setting, especially ICU, Emergency Room, Telemetry, Psych and / or Med/Surg.
  • We have one position currently open that is somewhat heavy with psych patients but we are not managing their mental health – it is a comanaged population with a local Mental Health Center.


What is the patient population?

  • Our patient population is from pediatrics to geriatrics from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • We deal with many immigrant patients
  • Our patient population speaks over 50+ languages


What are the responsibilities?

  • Will work with providers to book appointments with patients,
  • Will monitor blood pressure and help with medications
  • Will give shots
  • Wil Triage
  • Will review patients medical records
  • Will deal with medication reconciliation

What is the schedule?
  • We are flexible offering either 4 or 5 shifts a week
  • We prefer 5 x 8s Monday – Friday
  • We are open to 4 days a week
  • We are open on the weekend for RNs that prefer that, but not required
