Full-Time Days Licensed Nursing Assistant

Catholic Medical Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians.

You will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, ensuring their comfort, and assisting with various medical and personal care tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Perform range-of-motion exercises and reposition patients as directed by the healthcare team.
  • Facilitate patient mobility, including transferring them between beds and wheelchairs.
  • Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. Document intake and output records, vital signs, and any care provided.
  • Continuously monitor patients, checking monitors and medical equipment.
  • Assist with setting up, using, and maintaining medical equipment like oxygen tanks, heart monitors, and suction machines.
  • Follow infection prevention protocols, wearing protective equipment and adhering to hand hygiene guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting performing similar work activities.
  • BASIC COMPUTER KEYBOARDING AND DATA ENTRY SKILLS REQUIRED.
  • Current registration in the State of New Hampshire as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), mandatory.
  • BLS certification necessary. Maintain BLS throughout employment.
