We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at ECHN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our healthcare providers.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for greeting patients, preparing them for physician examinations, and maintaining accurate medical records.

In addition to your clinical duties, you will also assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and performing office duties.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and prepare them for physician examinations per established office protocol.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting all sample medication dispensed.
  • Assist physicians with office surgical procedures and perform EKG and Spirometry as ordered.
  • Report lab results to patients and follow through with any physician instructions for follow-up or change in medication.
  • Answer requests from pharmacies for prescription refills per office protocol.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have completed a Medical Assistant Program, Certification/Registration as an MA, or 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Prior experience working in a medical facility preferred.
Salary and Benefits
