Patient Services Representative

This on-site position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' experiences for a workers comp claims company on the West Side of Pittsburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Registration: Efficiently collect and verify patient information on the phone, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment requests, confirmations, and cancellations, providing outstanding customer service throughout the process.
Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about our services and procedures through inbound and outbound calls.
Insurance Verification: Conduct insurance checks and assist patients with understanding their coverage and benefits.
Records Management: Maintain patient records with a strong focus on confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Administrative Support: Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate seamless operations and patient care.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Previous office experience is required, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
Positive Attitude: A proactive and friendly demeanor, with a commitment to delivering outstanding patient service.
