Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Pomona, CA

Salary: Up to $25/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Pomona, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data.

  • Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.

  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in accounting preferred.

  • Proven working experience as an accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager, or accountant.

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.

  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.



Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
