Accounts Payable Specialist

Please note that this is a hybrid job opportunity. You will be expected to work 2-3 days in the office in Lone Tree, CO. The rest of the days you may work from home using company-provided equipment.

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Accounts Payable Specialist job in Lone Tree, CO. To qualify, you must have at least two years of recent, relevant experience processing full-cycle accounts payable.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $23.00 and $26.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for this company’s very competitive benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:
-Processing and approving invoices for payment
-Preparing weekly check runs
-Responding to vendors’ and internal customers’ inquiries regarding payments
-Monitoring aged payables and keeping vendor accounts current
-Researching and resolving invoice issues and discrepancies
-Assisting with setting up vendors in the payment system
-Reconciling vendor statements to the AP ledger
-Preparing 1099s yearly
-All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:
-At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar accounts payable role
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent internal and external customer service skills
-Excellent analytical skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
-Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance or a related field preferred

Compensation:
-Hourly rate between $23.00 and $26.00
