We are seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our client's team. We welcome candidates from across the country who are open to relocation.

Job Summary

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for manufacturing quality on the production floor, monitoring quality metrics, identifying issues, and addressing non-conformances in real-time. This role involves close collaboration with production, engineering, and quality control teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in technical and engineering design reviews

  • Monitor process quality and address non-conformances

  • Develop inspection plans for PCBs and mechanical components

  • Recommend production improvements based on quality data

  • Co-chair committee for dispositioning non-conforming material

  • Provide guidance to inspection personnel

  • Drive corrective and preventative actions

  • Conduct audits and participate in customer audits

  • Generate quality plans and perform product/process validations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a certified Process/Quality Engineer in electronics assembly

  • CQE designation (mandatory for Senior QE; CQE eligible candidates considered for QE positions)

  • Knowledge of IPC standards (A-600, A-610, A-620, J-STD-001)

  • Experience with AS9102 FAI's, FMEA's, and PFMEA's

  • Strong data analysis skills

  • Process knowledge in printed circuit assembly/boards

  • Ability to work independently and grow into a leadership role

  • Willingness to travel (up to 10% of the time)
