Senior Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving process optimization and cost reduction initiatives across the Aviation & Aerospace industry.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record of driving process improvement and cost savings. Your expertise in process simulation software, Lean Manufacturing principles, and project management methodologies will enable you to develop and implement effective strategies to optimize manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve manufacturing methods, tools, and equipment
- Conduct process simulations, time studies, and capacity analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs and improve productivity
- Train and mentor production operators on new tools, equipment, and processes
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and conduct root cause analysis
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize supply chain and quality performance
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering in the Aviation & Aerospace industry
- Proficiency in process simulation software such as Arena, Matlab, or SIMUL8
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Experience with project management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven track record of driving process optimization and cost reduction initiatives
