Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Director to lead our team in driving innovation and excellence in electronic manufacturing services. With a strong background in SMT manufacturing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technology roadmaps, improving design-for-manufacturability (DFM), and ensuring seamless integration of new products.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PCBA processes, high-level assemblies, and box build operations. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technology roadmaps to ensure Microboard's competitive advantage in the markets we serve.
  • Lead the development of DFM programs to improve design quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering & Technology Leader and VP of Business Development on sales prospecting and technical support activities.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) processes, including documentation control, manufacturing process development, and quick-turn production.
