Pay Range: $24-$26

SUMMARY

  • Tests, calibrates, and provides mechanical and electronic repairs in conformance to established standards and demonstrates familiarity with major functions and use of advanced products such as Hybrid/PLC controllers, screw feeders, screw counters, electronic tools and multipliers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Calibrates advanced systems including high torque load cell method (SARGE), Hybrid / PLC controllers, electronic tools and multipliers.
  • Applies advanced troubleshooting techniques to isolate and diagnose equipment problems.
  • Renders advanced mechanical and electronic repairs.
  • Performs quality control review and signature of calibration certificates.
  • Participates in maintaining laboratory standards and equipment.
  • Uses MS Word / Excel to record data.
  • Participates in technical training sessions with internal and external customers.
  • Provides basic support via phone / e-mail to customers and internal departments, as needed.
  • Participates in quality management activities such as audits, CAPA, MRB, etc.
  • Performs responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains clean work area and support and participate in health and safety program.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One year certificate from college or tech / vocational school; or 2 – 5 years of related experience

and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
