Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Snap-on Inc. as a Calibration and Repair Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced mechanical and electronic repairs, calibrations, and quality control reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced mechanical and electronic repairs, including repairs on electronic analyzers and other hand tools and electric drivers.
  • Preset and calibrate analyzers and transducers, as well as hybrid controllers, electronic tools, and multipliers.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to isolate and diagnose equipment problems.
  • Provide basic support to customers and internal departments, as needed.
  • Perform quality control reviews and sign off on calibration certificates.
  • Participate in technical training sessions with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain laboratory standards and equipment, and ensure that our facility maintains its ISO 17025 certification.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of related experience and/or training in a repair/calibration lab environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform repair work and calibration procedures according to established procedures and timelines/commitments.
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude.
  • Experience in an ISO-certified lab is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
