Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update patient medical records in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record retrieval
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent required; previous experience as a unit clerk or nurse's aide preferred
  • Medical terminology and computer skills required
  • Certified Health Unit Coordinator (CHUC) certification preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and WELLE certifications required within 120 days of hire
Working Conditions

The Medical Records Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to cleaning agents and noxious odors.

The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and walk frequently.
