Clinical Nurse Coordinator CNC Surgical PCD

At LewisGale Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our surgical team. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with 1 year of RN experience is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree.
