Financial Intelligence Senior Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Financial Intelligence Team Lead to ensure that department policies for alert, case, and SAR quality and timeliness are met.
  • Make recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of department processes and procedures.
  • Investigate complex cases of potential money laundering/terrorist financing and financial crimes throughout the Associated Bank footprint.
  • Research and understand money laundering, fraud, and enhanced due diligence trends and scenarios to apply intelligence to observed activity in customer accounts.
  • Interact with Retail, Commercial, and other business unit managers across Associated.
  • Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports as required by regulations.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives as directed.
  • Monitor and report progress towards successful and timely completion of those projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct quality assurance over reviews conducted by FI Analysts.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Risk, Compliance, Audit, Business, or Law Enforcement.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Risk, Security, banking, compliance, or audit.
  • CAMS-Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist within 2 years.
