Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept student nurses and new hires.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of RN work experience in a critical care setting.
  • Current RN license in the state of Florida.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.
  • PALS certification required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU.
