Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a NICU RN, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families in the NICU
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and assess patient condition, identifying and responding to changes in a timely and effective manner
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate and safe administration
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • One year of nursing experience in a NICU or pediatric setting
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas)
  • PALS certification (required for Pediatric areas, except NICU)
  • NRP certification (required for NICU)
