Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a NICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and document patient condition, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
- One (1) year of nursing experience in a NICU or pediatric critical care setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required for NICU RNs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
