    • Assist with the collection, preservation, and review of electronic materials for production.

  • Case File Management and Organization
    • Establish and maintain case files, document collections, and chronologies.
  • Correspondence and Communication

  • Research and Analysis
    • Compile materials for witness interviews and depositions.
    • Digest and index deposition transcripts.

  • Trial Preparation and Support
    • Assist with trial preparation, including setting up the trial, organizing trial exhibits and notebooks, and developing charts and graphs.
    • Take notes during the trial and assist with trial presentation.
  • Information Retrieval and Technology
    • Develop and maintain information retrieval systems, with a focus on computerized litigation support.
    • Conduct computer searches and research using firm resources such as Opus 2, Relativity, Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, and HighQ/Engage.
  • Administrative and Filing Tasks
    • Check citations, Bluebook, and proofread legal documents.
    • Filing and retrieving documents at courthouses and government agencies.
  • Team Collaboration and Supervision
    • Collaborate with eData (Litigation Support) on electronic discovery and other matters.
    • Assist with coordinating and supervising teams of contract attorneys on document review projects.
Requirements
  • A four-year college degree is strongly preferred, with an excellent academic record.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Liability Paralegal work.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and travel, as necessary.
