Job Overview

Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio company, is seeking a skilled Paralegal Specialist to join their team. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in business immigration and contribute to a dynamic and challenging atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of immigration matters, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Paralegal Specialist, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to case preparation, document gathering, and case filing, while providing world-class client service and industry-leading technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies
  • Communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts to provide clear and prompt responses regarding case status or other general inquiries
  • Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress, status, and escalations to supervisors
  • Compile and summarize large quantities of data within case management systems for reporting to clients, managers, and team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Paralegal certification, or experience in a customer-facing or client-service-oriented role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents and draft fluent prose
  • Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel
