Job Title: Payroll Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Power Monitors, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day payroll function, administering company benefit programs, and serving as the main point of contact for employee questions or concerns regarding company policies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls in a timely and accurate manner
* Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts related to benefits and payroll
* Maintain HRIS, payroll system, and timekeeping system
* Perform monthly PTO audits and accruals
* Administer and have comprehensive understanding of all benefit programs
* Process 401k and HSA contributions
* Post job openings and coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate interview process
* Manage onboarding of new employees and offboarding of departing employees
* Suggest new procedures and recommend improvements of existing processes
* Assist with external audits and annual budget process

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, or related field from a four-year college or university
* Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll experience
* Extensive knowledge of state and federal tax laws pertaining to payroll and benefits
* High level of organization (multi-tasking) and communication (verbal and written) skills required
* Recognition of and respect for the confidential nature of the work
